Barrenjoey Road, Bilgola

Stabilisation works for a section of embankment on Barrenjoey Road at Bilgola. Works include but not just limited to;

  • Complex Traffic Management due to narrow road and works location.
  • The construction of a micro pile wall approximately 40 metres long.
  • Installation of 53 x 225mm cased micro piles up to 11m deep in sandstone.
  • Construction of a capping beam along the top of the micro-pile wall.
  • Reinstatement of new guardrail.
  • Installation of a new surface drainage and grated driveway access at Barrenjoey Road.
  • 200 square metres of vegetation cleared to facilitate the construction of the proposed slope stabilisation work.
  • Line Marking & Signage.
  • All works completed at night.
